Doug Lee

Month, Day & Place of Birth:  August 8th, born right here in San Francisco!

Zodiac Sign:  Proud Leo

Hobbies:  Playing the ukulele, taking long walks, and discoveringt new fun places to dine throughout the Bay Area

Favorite Color:  Green.  No, not the mean green that the O'Jays sing about!  The green that represents nature:  trees, grass, and when you're lucky, shades of green in the ocean.  It's a color that soothes the soul.

Favorite Food:  Good home-style Cantonese is my comfort food; it's what I grew up with.  Also Pacific Fusion, especially seafood.  And I keep searching for the perfect Filet Mignon too!

Favorite Movie:  I'm definitely Old School when it comes to favorite movies.  As a young boy, I fell in love with the original Magnificent Seven, the western with Yul Brynner and Steve McQueen.  Every time I re-watch it (oh, about a million times and counting) it still hits all my spots!

Favorite Sports Team:  Asky anyone who knows me even a little bit...GIANTS!

Favorite Vacation Spot:  Hawaii!  Also enjoy going on cruises too.  They spoil you with attentino.  I can get very used to that!

Celebrity Lookalike:  The gecko in those Geico commercials.

Celebrity you'd most like to meet:  My late father, who is a celebrity to me.  I would have liked to have met him when he was the same age that I am today, so that we could talk man to man.

If you could be an animal, what would you be and why:  Elephant fascinate me.  They seem intelligent, social and self-aware.  But I don't think I'd care to be one.  It would have to be an eagle; the thought of being able to fly is tantalizing.

First Job:  Stockboy in one of those tourist trap trinket shops on Grant Avenue in Chinatown.  My wage:  $1.25 an hour.  It was those sort of earnings that prepared me for a career in radio!

If you weren't on the radio, what job would you have and why:  It would have to be something to do with music and making people smile and feel good.  Now you know why being on KBLX is THE perfect job for me!
