KBLX PSA Guidelines:

1. The organization or agency must be a nonprofit.
2. The following information on the organization should be provided on letterhead:
   1. Contact person and telephone number
   2. The agencies tax exempt identification number
   3. A brief description of what services the organization provides to the community
   4. How long has the organization been in existence
   5. How the organization is funded.
3. We accept written announcements for our website and the information should include: Who, What, Where, Date and Time. If there is a fee or if donations are being requested, the script should include who benefits from the proceeds and what percentage of the proceeds go to the recipient.
4. Scripts must also include a telephone number for broadcast and or a website address. Please do not use anyone's home phone number, or private business phone number. The number which may be used for broadcast or in streaming on our website must be the agencies official telephone number.
5. If the PSA is date sensitive, we need to receive the information at least 3 weeks prior to the event. Indicate "date sensitive material" on the envelope or email  as well as, in the cover letter.
6. We accept :30 or :60 pre-recorded material for PSAs for our website.
7. We accept logos 125 x 125 (jpeg format) for posting along with your announcement on our website.

Due to the volume of PSA requests, first consideration is given to submissions who meet the above requirements and there is no guarantee your PSA will run or be posted.

Non-profit Guest Slot on Bayview Guidelines:

KBLX produces Bayview, a Public Affairs show which airs on Sundays 5:30-6:00am. Topics include: health, teens, women, seniors, children from community service/nonprofit sectors. Bayview is recorded and conducted in a general interview format.

Guidelines:

1. You must be with a nonprofit or fundraising event for a nonprofit.
2. Suggestions for guests should be submitted 4 weeks in advance of any program or event you are trying to promote.
3. Send information about your organization and include your tax exempt id number.
4. Include contact name/telephone number and the name of the person to be interviewed. Also include a one-sheet about the person you would like us to interview.
